PORTABLE Product Family

Application-Specific Mobile Devices

These application-specific mobile devices differ from smartphones in that their operation can be fully monitored and managed through remote monitoring software. Any change in the device’s status (e.g., power on/off, charging started/interrupted, fully charged, impact, fall, battery level, signal strength, heartbeats, location, incoming and outgoing call times, and phone numbers) generates an event alert to the monitoring software. Continuous monitoring and logging of the device's status help prevent misuse and provide evidence for service providers in case of a complaint investigation. The portable devices are capable of receiving and making calls, allowing two-way voice communication.

MONICALL

Activity Monitoring Device

MONICALL is designed to monitor and document the movements and daily repetitive tasks of various physical workers (e.g., security guards, cleaners, maintenance workers, landscapers, public workers) in real-time. The device is equipped with a built-in RFID reader, allowing users to scan activity identifiers (passive tags) placed at various locations, confirming task completion. The monitoring software tracks the timely completion or omission of tasks and can notify clients automatically or through a dispatcher via SMS, email, or phone call. Thanks to its built-in GPS, MONICALL can track outdoor movements, and when equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, it can enable zone-based indoor localization. This is supported by BLUETOOTH BEACON zone identifiers (active tags) with built-in batteries placed in specific areas. When the device enters the range of a beacon, it transmits the beacon’s unique ID to the monitoring software, representing a specific room, allowing continuous zone-based tracking of indoor movement. MONICALL is designed for everyday use, featuring a durable casing and a protected keypad. It also has a built-in speaker and microphone, allowing high-quality two-way voice communication. Thanks to its built-in accelerometer, the device can detect impacts, falls, or inactivity and report them to the monitoring software in real-time. Its built-in battery can provide up to 72 hours of standby time, depending on the settings. MONICALL also has three programmable function buttons, which can be used to send emergency alerts or mobilize specific personnel (e.g., cleaners or maintenance staff) instantly.
MONICALL

RFID TAG, RFID TOKEN

The RFID TAG is a useful accessory for MONICALL. It is a passive radio frequency (125KHz) tag with a unique identifier that can be read by the device from a few centimeters away. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, as it withstands various weather conditions. It does not require a power supply or maintenance. The RFID tag has a diameter of 3 cm and a thickness of 3-5 mm, depending on the model, making it suitable for identifying objects or activities. The RFID TOKEN is a keychain version that can be used to identify individuals. The discreet RFID tag can be easily and quickly mounted on walls or other surfaces using a central hole, although it’s essential to consider metal surfaces, as they may interfere with radio waves and reduce reading reliability.

BLUETOOTH BEACON

Another valuable accessory for MONICALL, the BLUETOOTH BEACON is an active radio frequency (2.4 GHz) tag with a unique identifier. Unlike passive tags, active beacons can automatically transmit signals at predetermined intervals thanks to their built-in battery. The BLUETOOTH BEACON allows easy identification of specific areas or rooms. When the MONICALL device enters its range, it transmits the beacon’s unique code to the monitoring software, enabling 3-5 meter accurate, zone-based tracking of indoor movement. The beacon is designed to be aesthetically pleasing and discreet, making it suitable for any environment. It is quick and easy to install, with its built-in battery providing 3-5 years of continuous operation depending on the settings. The only maintenance required is battery replacement, which is alerted through MONICALL before the battery runs out.

PATROL PAGER

Personal Monitoring Device

The PATROL PAGER is a simplified, small personal monitoring device weighing only 40 grams, which can be clipped to a belt or worn around the neck. It has a built-in GPS, Bluetooth modem, and RFID reader. The GPS assists with outdoor positioning, while the Bluetooth supports zone-based indoor movement tracking through BLUETOOTH BEACON zone identification sensors (active transmitters) with built-in batteries placed in various areas. The PATROL PAGER within the range transmits the unique ID of the nearest BLUETOOTH BEACON to the remote monitoring software, which represents a specific room, allowing continuous zone-based tracking of movement within the building. The built-in RFID reader is responsible for reading radio frequency activity identifier discs placed at various locations. When the device is touched to the RFID disc, the PATROL PAGER sends the unique ID of the disc with a timestamp to the monitoring software, allowing electronic documentation of task completion. The PATROL PAGER is designed for daily use, featuring a very durable casing, a keypad protected by a film, and three push buttons. Its built-in speaker and microphone enable high-quality two-way audio communication. Thanks to its built-in accelerometer, the device can report impacts, falls, or even inactivity in real-time to the remote monitoring software. Depending on settings, its built-in battery can provide up to 20 hours of standby time. The PATROL PAGER has three freely programmable function buttons, which can be used to send emergency alerts or immediately mobilize certain staff members (e.g., cleaner, maintenance request). The PATROL PAGER does not have a display, so it uses sound and light signals to inform the user of changes in the device's status (low battery, device charging, impact, fall, emergency request), which are also reported to the remote monitoring software.

SOS PAGER

Emergency Call Device

The SOS PAGER is a simplified, small emergency call device weighing only 40 grams, which can be clipped to a belt, worn around the neck, or even on the wrist. It has a built-in GPS and Bluetooth modem. The former assists with outdoor positioning, while the latter supports zone-based indoor movement tracking through BLUETOOTH BEACON zone identification sensors (active transmitters) placed in various areas. The SOS PAGER within its range transmits the unique ID of the nearest BLUETOOTH BEACON to the remote monitoring software, representing a specific room, allowing continuous zone-based tracking of movement within the building. The SOS PAGER is designed for daily use, featuring a very durable casing and a large push button. Its built-in speaker and microphone enable high-quality two-way audio communication. Thanks to its built-in accelerometer, the device can report impacts, falls, or even inactivity in real-time to the remote monitoring software. Depending on settings, its built-in battery can provide up to 30 hours of standby time. It is easy to use, with immediate emergency call activation possible with a single button press. The SOS PAGER does not have a display, so it provides auditory feedback in Hungarian to inform the user of device status changes (low battery, device charging, impact, fall, emergency call), which are also reported to the remote monitoring software. Its waterproof design allows it to be worn at all times, regardless of the user's location. The SOS PAGER comes with a magnetic charger, which makes connecting to the electrical network simpler and safer for the user.
