Central Service Management and Traffic Control Server

The HELIOS CLOUD is a Linux-based cloud server that receives encrypted event signals from remote monitoring GSM devices developed and manufactured by MOHAnet via a dedicated IP channel. It then forwards these signals to the MERCURY CLOUD servers operated by remote monitoring service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a channel-coded network
  • Ensuring encrypted data communication and key exchange
  • Serving the MOHAnet TOOLBOX device parameterization web software
  • Serving the HELIOS ADMIN operational management web software
  • Monitoring operational incidents, logging alerts, and interventions
  • Maintaining records of MERCURY CLOUD remote monitoring receiver servers
  • Keeping track of remote monitoring GSM devices and SIM cards
  • Managing data traffic subscriptions and tariff packages
  • Routing event messages from remote monitoring GSM devices
  • Counting data traffic per device, monitoring threshold crossings
  • Preparing various reports, statistics, and summaries
