HELIOS CLOUD
Central Service Management and Traffic Control Server
The HELIOS CLOUD is a Linux-based cloud server that receives encrypted event signals from remote monitoring GSM devices developed and manufactured by MOHAnet via a dedicated IP channel. It then forwards these signals to the MERCURY CLOUD servers operated by remote monitoring service providers.Responsibilities
- Operating a channel-coded network
- Ensuring encrypted data communication and key exchange
- Serving the MOHAnet TOOLBOX device parameterization web software
- Serving the HELIOS ADMIN operational management web software
- Monitoring operational incidents, logging alerts, and interventions
- Maintaining records of MERCURY CLOUD remote monitoring receiver servers
- Keeping track of remote monitoring GSM devices and SIM cards
- Managing data traffic subscriptions and tariff packages
- Routing event messages from remote monitoring GSM devices
- Counting data traffic per device, monitoring threshold crossings
- Preparing various reports, statistics, and summaries
