SOS Pager PRO
Professional Mobile Emergency Alert Device for Remote Monitoring and Elderly Care ServicesThe SOS Pager PRO is MOHAnet’s fourth-generation mobile emergency alert device, developed to meet the needs of remote monitoring service providers, municipalities, and institutional elderly care services.
Behind a single, easy-to-use SOS button, the device offers a comprehensive range of features that enable the development of advanced remote monitoring services: LTE (4G) communication, location tracking, fall and impact detection, geofencing, ambient temperature monitoring, Hungarian-language voice notifications, remote configuration, and wireless peripheral connectivity.
The SOS Pager PRO is designed not merely as a standalone emergency button, but as the mobile endpoint of an expandable remote monitoring ecosystem.
Key features
LTE (4G) communication • SOS emergency calling • Location tracking • Geofencing • Fall detection • Impact detection • Ambient temperature monitoring • Hungarian-language voice notifications • Remote configuration • Up to 48 hours of battery life • Wireless sensors • Waterproof home emergency alert wristband • Multiple wearing options
One Device, Multiple Service Possibilities
In professional elderly care, an emergency alert device should not be considered in isolation. Service providers need an endpoint that can be managed remotely, configured for different service models, and expanded with additional sensors.
This is why, when developing the SOS Pager PRO, we focused not simply on creating an emergency button, but on building a complete system.
The device’s capabilities enable remote monitoring providers and institutions to develop elderly care services tailored to their own professional protocols and service models.
4G LTE MOBILE COMMUNICATION
The SOS Pager PRO features a modern, fourth-generation LTE-based GSM modem.
4G technology provides a modern communication foundation for remote monitoring services designed for long-term operation.
Thanks to its energy-efficient design, the device can operate for up to 48 hours on a single charge, depending on usage conditions and configuration.
DEVICE CAPABILITIES
SOS Emergency Calling with a Single Physical Button
The complexity lies in the backend system rather than in the user interface. End users only need to operate one button, while service providers benefit from a highly configurable device.
Fall and Impact Detection
The device can also notify users of detected events through Hungarian-language voice messages.
Location Tracking and Geofencing
This enables services to go beyond responding to active emergency calls. With appropriately designed service protocols, leaving a predefined geographical area can also become a monitored event.
This feature can be particularly valuable in care services where the user’s location or movement within a designated area is important.
Built-in Ambient Temperature Monitoring
Temperature data can supplement the information available to service providers and, when combined with appropriate service logic, may help identify certain risk situations, such as exposure to extremely low ambient temperatures.
Hungarian-Language Voice Feedback
- Low battery level
- Charging started
- Charging interrupted
- Battery fully charged
- Impact detected
- Fall detected
- SOS button pressed
Remote Configuration and Device Management
One of the SOS Pager PRO’s key advantages for service providers is that many of its parameters can be configured remotely through a cloud-based system. This allows service providers to modify certain operating parameters without physically visiting the end user or configuring the device on-site.
Less configuration for users, greater control for service providers.
Remotely manageable or configurable settings include:
- Speaker volume
- Button sound volume and press-and-hold duration
- Location tracking functionality
- Geofencing settings
- Protection against unauthorized audio monitoring
- Incoming call permissions and authorized phone numbers
- Device heartbeat reporting frequency
- Operation of connected wireless sensors
EXPANDABLE WITH WIRELESS SENSORS
The SOS Pager PRO is not limited to functioning as a mobile emergency alert device. External wireless sensors and emergency alert peripherals can be connected to the system, enabling service providers to expand personal emergency response into a more comprehensive home monitoring service.
Waterproof Home Emergency Alert Wristband
A waterproof home emergency alert wristband can also be used alongside the SOS Pager PRO and worn continuously. One of its key benefits is providing emergency alert coverage while the mobile device is charging. When the SOS Pager PRO is on its charger, the end user can continue wearing the home emergency alert wristband, helping to minimize gaps in protection during charging.
Smoke Detector
A wireless smoke detector can also be connected to the system, extending personal emergency alert services to include fire safety monitoring.
Carbon Monoxide Detector
A wireless carbon monoxide (CO) detector can also be integrated into the system, enabling the monitoring of carbon monoxide-related hazards.
Water Leak Detector
By integrating a wireless water leak detector, the service can be extended to detect water leaks and flooding incidents.
Temperature Sensor
Continuously monitors ambient temperature and helps detect dangerous drops or rises in temperature before they become a serious risk.
Activity Monitoring Motion Sensor
A wireless motion sensor can provide valuable insights into activity levels within the home, adding another source of information to the remote monitoring service. This enables the development of care protocols that rely not only on active emergency calls but also on changes in the user’s usual activity patterns.
Long Battery Life for Peripheral Devices. Low maintenance requirements are a key consideration in the design of wireless accessories. Depending on their design and usage, peripheral devices can operate on batteries for up to two years. This is particularly important for service providers and institutions managing large numbers of deployed devices.
Three Wearing Options – One Device Platform
Different end-user requirements do not necessarily call for different mobile emergency alert devices. The SOS Pager PRO can be worn in three different ways. This allows service providers to use a single device platform while accommodating different user preferences, simplifying device fleet management and user support.
Clipped On
Attached to a belt, trousers, or bag.
Around the Neck
Worn with a neck lanyard.
On the Wrist
Worn using a magnetic wrist strap.
SIMPLER CHARGING, FEWER USER-RELATED ISSUES
The SOS Pager PRO uses a magnetic charging connection.
The device does not need to be removed from its wrist strap adapter for charging. The magnet and the opening on the device help guide the charger into the correct position, eliminating the need to align small connectors precisely.
This is more than just a convenience feature for end users. From a remote monitoring service provider’s perspective, any solution that can reduce problems caused by incorrect charging, improper handling, or user uncertainty offers significant operational value.
