How is the package structure built for residential and corporate packages, and where are the boundaries?

I. Package Structure – Residential and Corporate Packages + Clear Boundaries

(key: what you commit to, and what you do NOT)

RESIDENTIAL / SIMPLE CLIENTS

1. “Video Verification” – Residential Basic Package

Positioning:
“If a home alarm is triggered, we check the camera – if something looks suspicious, we take action.”

What it includes:

  • URL-based live video access
  • Browser-compatible live stream
  • Dispatcher visual verification upon alarm
  • Patrol dispatch in case of suspicious events

What it does NOT include (this is very important in communication):

  •  access to archived recordings
  •  video control (PTZ, preset images, etc.)
  •  snapshots, playback
  •  integrated event management
  •  guaranteed response time on the video side

Target audience:

  • private individuals
  • low-value properties
  • clients with a “better than no one watching” mindset

2. “Video Verification Plus” – Residential Upper Tier

(optional, but very useful upsell)

Additional features:

  • management of multiple cameras
  • dedicated camera naming
  • limited manual checks (e.g. 1 per day)
  • dispatcher priority

 Important:
This is still not a corporate-level service, only an increase in convenience and comfort.

CORPORATE / PREMIUM CLIENTS

3. “Integrated Video Remote Monitoring + Reactive Incident Management” – Basic Package

Positioning:
“We do not watch images – we manage events.”

What it includes:

  • API-based video integration
  • VMS connection
  • automated event triggering (e.g. artificial intelligence-based analytics)
  • access to live + archive + snapshot recordings
  • event-linked video access
  • documented incident management

SLA:

  • defined response times
  • event logging
  • traceability

Target audience:

  • office buildings
  • industrial sites
  • logistics facilities
  • retail units

4. “Integrated Video Remote Monitoring + Preventive Incident Management” – Premium Package

Positioning:
“Provable, auditable security.”

Additional features:

  • complex event scenarios
  • command execution (floodlights, loudspeakers, PTZ, presets, zones)
  • detailed reporting
  • audit support
  • high availability

From a business perspective, this includes:

  • long-term contracts
  • VMS financing decisions
  • clearly defined responsibilities

II. Quick Decision Matrix – Classify a Client in 10 Minutes

This is extremely valuable for both sales and technical pre-screening.

Question

If YES

If NO

Is the client a private individual?

Residential

Continue

Is the client price-sensitive?

Residential

Continue

Is alarm-based visual check sufficient?

Video Verification

Continue

Is archive playback required?

Is provable incident management required?

Is a written SLA required?

Corporate premium

Is there legal dispute / audit risk?

Decision point

Golden rule:
If the client cannot clearly articulate what they need, they are not premium – yet.

III. One Sentence That Protects the Business Model

This is worth using verbatim:

“ For residential clients, we provide visual verification in case of an alarm,
while for corporate clients we deliver integrated video-based event management –
the two are not the same service and are not designed for the same level of risk.”
